Levels of significance are given by Kruskal-Wallis ANOVA by Ranks for independent groups. In this case, significance was only attained for sounds modulated by SINE envelopes. Note that the mean SDL for FEP is always set above the observed mean levels for HC for every one of the 16 sounds
